The planets looking back at me.
I gaze at bright and distant stars.
and search for mercury, Venus, Mars
I squint at the Milky Way up High.
And Look for Jupiter in the sky.
Where are Saturn,Uranus, Neptune?
They are far away, huigh like the Moon.
A telescope would be the best.
For spotting Pluto and the rest.
But even with my naked eye.
I look for planets in the sky.

My son’s birthday is after two days. All four of us (my elder son, husband and me)are excited about it. It is his fifth birthday.
We are planning to celebrate his birthday in KFC it is a good place good enjoyment for kids and we are also planning to arrange for a a magic show also. Me , my Husband and both my sons sat down and decided on the list of his friends to be invited.

Now the venue and the guest list was ready. We got ready for the shopping to buy return gifts. Which is again a tough job because a gift should be liked by kids and knowledgeable . We searched for many shops looking for the gifts. Then we finally decided to buy story books for each child which a child will read and keep with him. Finally we Finished with our shopping now only cake is left and some sweets have to be bought. My husband decided to order a cake in the shape of a car track as he love car and we ordered our cake and now our shopping was complete . Now my son was waiting for his birthday. He was full of enthusiasm.
Now the day had come, he was so excited about his birthday. he bath early in the morning wear new clothes he wore a nice pair of blue jeans and a jacket and receive the blessings from his Daddi Dada and all other family members then he went to temple to pray. He distribute some biscuits to the poor people. He took some sweets for his class children.
Finally the evening has come he is ready for the party in KFC we all wear party clothes and do not forget his mom and dad were looking awesome. We reached at the party hall by 3′o clock. Now all the children have come. They play with balloons make lot of noise dance and on the top of it they love the magic show. After the party we reached back home and he was excited to open the gifts. He open the gifts with his brother and other family members now it is time to sleep and another day is waiting for him with new surprises.

We saw a restaurant called Legend of connaught place Opposite to PVR Plaza K-21 Connaught Place there were lithos, paintings, photographsof Delhi and langdmark monuments; there are mirrors mirrors on the wall;there are spiral stair case leadind to the next floor. We ordered for Chicken dumplings for Rs 195 Which are not very yummy. Then we had Fish and chipps they were average then in the main course we ordered for Tomato basil penne pasta for Rs 250 is passable; and can safely be given pass.
But you will love to eat there Dal Tadaka for Rs 210 Then unusual Tomato corn Bharta Rs 210 Served with Pudhiana Paratha and Butter nan This make a pleasant enough meal.So if are fond of trying different restaurant you can visit it once as it is worth visiting once only.

Rishabh’s birthday is on 7th Oct. He will be turning 5. Looks like time has flown way just like that. It seems it was like few days back when he used to crawl and cry. Suddenly he seems to have grownup into a boy and asking for a bicycle as a gift.

Actually he has been asking for a bicycle since few months, and we promised him to get one on his birthday. The day had arrived and he was quite excited. We drove to Jhandewalan, (it has a cycle market) and searched through different options. We saw Hero cycles, BSA (Indian and CHinese), Avon and few others. He liked the one with plastic rim and tubeless tyres. However, the salesman told us that the one with iron rim and tyres with tube were better and rugged. So ultimately we bought a 14 inch BSA cycle with iron rims and tyres with tube.

Rishabh was upset since he was afraid that these tyres would need to be inflated regularly and that would become a problem. So, we bought an air pump for Rs.100 to make him happy.

Yes, I was furious but then he convinced me and I agreed. I also wanted to see if he can handle 2 kids all alone. Later on Mohit also joined the gang and now it was All Boys Trip.

They boarded Rajdhani at 8pm on 24th August to reach Abu Road early morning, from where they took a cab to Mount Abu.

These are few pics from their trip to Mount Abu. They really had a great time.

Ok let me start with the birth of my elder son Maolik. After going through the pains and excitement I finally gave birth to a baby boy (we named him Maolik meaning unique/valuable/Precious/original) on 26th December 1999 at Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital New Delhi in the night. The feeling of becoming a mother was overwhelming.
