How Turnip is important in your meal?

Turnip is a vegetable of winters I enjoy its taste and its flavor my mom make so many dishes from turnip like Turnip Bharta. The turnip is a good nourishing vegetable that is full of Vitamin A,B,C,E and some minerals.
The Turnip is only Vegetable, besides Cabbage that contains trace elements of arsenic, which in minute amounts helps the healthy functioning of the body. Its green are green are good in Calcium and helps in digestion.
This vegetable is not very expensive and do not need special handling or storage.It is good for poor people but it is not a very popular vegetable with people. When you buy Turnip always remember few things see that they are not faded or are burnished and the smell should not be strong. Tender and small Turnips are not to be peeled they can be used like that only in soup or in any vegetable but hard peel Turnips need to be peeled
But remember to wash it before using. and make different kind of dishes like creamed Turnip Soup or Turnip and Potato Gratin.
