father and son: a special bond

December 16, 2008 1 Comment

The relationship between the father and the son shares a special bond. There can be various reasons behind special bonding, the first can be that the son will in all probability carry in the father’s name; secondly the father will have in his son the reflection of him. However, this relationship is fragile and needs to be handled with care because little carelessness can result in weakening and their relationship may also disappear. If a father becomes a friend with his son then it will help to a great deal in developing and making their relationship better. The fathers should take the first step toward being friends with their sons by maybe discussing about each other’s hobbies. Hobbies can range from swimming to fishing to playing basketball to golf, no matter what the hobbies are, the fathers should try to involve their sons in the different hobbies while he is in his growing years. Taking part in the same hobby will help both the father and son spend quality time with each other, which is an integral part of bonding well. But it also happens that the sons and their fathers do not share the same likings, in such cases, the fathers should find a way to bond. If the son likes reading books then the father can help him in reading more books or if the son is not athletic then the father can easily opt for some other forms of games. Participating in the same hobby will also help the father to teach something of value to his son.
